A very somber selection of tracks for valentines day . That said its all killer no filler. These are some of my favorite reggae tracks spanning from early 70s Studio 1 to early 80s rub a dub.
I love all of them but perhaps the rarest is the Sam Cooke Mash up with whats his name and the Afro Cats. Never heard any one play it, real mood business. It probably not worth much but that takes nout away from it.
Tracks by the likes of Ken Booth Joe Higgs Cornell Campbell Heptones John Holt & the Paragons Jimmy Lindsey Sugar Minott Johnny Osborne and many more……………….
Yeah probably the oldest of all the mixes down here. Jus a ruff selection of ragga and jungle.
I think I did this mix when I lived in a shit tip on Edward road, the place was over run with roach and mice. Never have i seen such big roach in England. Landlord was a right prick ‘its not my fault there is cockroach they come in with the fruit!’ Your the only cunt that profits off the fruit, you own a dirty fucking grocery shop. Mr Hussian in the membrane buck your ideas up you incestuous gimp . Sorry I just don’t like you smarmy bald head!
Lock off your bloodclaat Mr Ikbal!
Exactly What it says. An homage to the first all Digital riddim. Wayne Smiths – Under Mi Sleng Teng first hit dancehalls in Feb 1985. Nuff artist have graced this riddim, I take just a few in this mix! probably about 30 or so.
This mix is no.1 on my soundcloud chart for plays. Thats because its pretty good, so good i gave such a grand alcalde of No.1 in play out chart on my account.¬† Suck on that Well urban in’t it! 66 and counting!
Yeah this cd cover is meant to be post modern and highly serious in its portrayal of my ultimate electro credentials. Plus that casio is the one with the Sleng Teng riddim on it ‘rock’ function on the top.
Did this mix for my radio show then realised that my show was only one an half hrs. Records I’ve attained over the last 8 months bar 1 or 2. Reggae orientated Dubstep and Jungle, nearly 2hrs who’s complaining! Some old classsics too! Takes some time to write all the tracks down! If you want to know let me know.
I like this picture but don’t know exectly what i was doing. Great clash with Rosko, sadly I lost but considering reggae my bread and butter I did well.
Some of my favorite tracks arranged by notorious bad man Henry Junjo Lawes. The man behind many of the greatest rub a dub tunes and owner of Volvano Sound System. Rumored to have been behind the killing of Prince Fari, he later got shot in a drive by in Harlesden, London back in 1999.
Worked with big artist like in this mix Barrington Levy, Jah Thomas, Yellow Man, John Holt, Wailing Souls, Johnny Osborne, Tamlins, Don Carlos, Billie Boyo, Little Harry, Nicodemus, Hugh Mundell and Captian Sinbad.
Worked a lot with Barbarus, Scientist and of course the Roots Radics band.
